Sorry, guys.  Nothing new today.  I know, just when you were getting into this, right?  I’m redoing #2, but I’m not entirely sure how.  This creeping crud I caught sure is getting the best of me.  It must be all that time I spend at www.creepycarly.com.  Lots of creepy stuff over there.  She’s bound to have some crud to spread to me.  Anywho, I chose “nap” over “comics” today.  No, I don’t have a bank of comics for DBB  just yet.  I do for Ted & Zed  but you’re not trying to read that right now, are you?  I get a bit of writing done on the weekend, but the week is horrible for me.  Basically, if it doesn’t get done by Monday night, it’s not getting done that week.  Things should start changing soon.  I’m trying to get into the habit of doing at least 5 DBB comics on the weekends.  That should allot for the weekly strips as well as develop a bit in case I get sick or run short of time or just feel lazy.

Alright, guys, here’s the scoop:  I’m getting divorced.  Yeah, ain’t it grand?  So I need money to hire an attorney to protect my interests as a father.  Yeah, I have 2 li’l nerdlets at home under the age of 5.

So I need to sell my comic collection because this writing gig still hasn’t taken off.  Hey, if Kevin Smith can sell his collection to finance his movies, I should be able to do this, right? 

So now that you know the reason behind it, maybe you can help?  This is also why I asked for help earlier this year.  Y’know, where I was giving away DEATH BY BUNNY pictures to people who helped me out?

So just take a look at my list.  I don’t really have the time to put the condition for them, but it’s not a kid’s collection.  They all range from VF+ to NM.  Most of them in the NMish category.

A whole mess of my Marvel Zombies books are autographed by Arthur Suydam (the cover artist) with only one of them containing a COA (Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness 1)

I’m also still taking donations that go directly to my legal fund.  I’ve got an expensive attorney, y’know?  lol And those that donate more than $10 will (eventually) get a free gift from me in the form of Clyde from DEATH BY BUNNY  killing you on paper!

So any help would be much appreciated.  I’ve posted these on eBay in lots of 15 for $26 with free shipping!  You can still cherry pick while the auction is going!  Don’t let the start of the auction stop you!  I don’t expect they’ll all sell on eBay.

Yes, the day every collector dreads is upon us… I need to sell my comics and I need to sell them fast. If you need to know the reason, feel free to ask and I’ll probably tell ya. Especially if you’re buying some!

It has taken me over 17 years to put together this 1,946-book collection and it truly saddens me to have to part with it. Know that it is going to a good cause!
